This course is designed to bridge the gap between theory and clinical reality for dentists seeking to undertake complex implant, bone grafting, and sinus surgical procedures. Currently, there is no course world-wide that provides participants with in-depth training in Block bone graft, Khoury plate grafting, Partial extraction therapy, Bone rings and Sinus Lifts ALL IN ONE COURSE!

This exceptional course merges an advanced theoretical curriculum with a Live-patient application of these techniques, under the direct supervision of highly experienced Oral Maxillofacial surgeons and Implantologists. The philosophy behind this course is to provide participants with a solid theoretical knowledge of these techniques. 2-days of the course will be dedicated to this, with the final 3-days being the Live-Patient experience.

All Live-Patient surgeries will be performed to Australian standards and will involve through case studies and debriefing after completion. This course places emphasis on quality over quantity and hence each participant (upon registration) will be requested to complete a short questionnaire to allow course organizers to customise the course to their area of interest.

 

• Brief revision of the anatomy of the Maxillary Sinus
• Understanding different approaches to Maxillary sinus lifts such as Crestal and Lateral Window
• Update on the most current Bone grafting materials and techniques to augment the Maxillary sinus
• Learning to avoid and manage complications during Maxillary Sinus lifts
• Understanding the fundamentals and techniques of Khoury Plate Grafting and block grafts
• Performing Partial Extraction Therapy with a safe, predictable and streamlined approach
• Understanding the key differences between harvested and ready-made bone rings
• Understanding case-selection for Bone rings
• Performing Bone-ring techniques correctly and safely on Live-patients
• Medico-legal considerations when performed advanced grafting and sinus lift procedures
• Managing Complications arising from failure of these advanced techniques
• Instilling confidence in participants to undertake these procedures on their own patients, with post-course support from key organisers
